Located on a large internal block five minutes’ drive from the township of Coles Bay, the property is home to 2 dwellings they’ve affectionately dubbed the Top Shack & and the Short Stack.

The two can be booked either separately or together. Each has their own easily accessible parking spaces; arrival is via a longer-than-average gravel drive, most memorable for the long row of vibrant Kangaroo Paws lining it.

The Short Stack is built into an inclined block & offers a garden view, sleeps 2 people in a queen bed, and is equipped with a bathroom, living area, kitchenette, deck & parking. The Top Shack sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. (2 x queen,1 x double) & features a full kitchen, 1.5 bath, 2 furnished decks & BBQ. Outlook from the main living areas is pleasing, lingering over Great Oyster Bay, from the Hazards, down the Freycinet Peninsula & across to Swansea.

In both places, the most frequent comments we hear from guests are about the quiet. The short stack is built into the earth, the Top Shack windows are double-glazed, & both buildings are enthusiastically insulated, which creates a sense of blissful stillness. A place to feel like you’ve truly escaped.
